Job Purpose

This role involves advanced mechanical engineering design for automotive machinery, ensuring projects meet performance, reliability, and quality standards from concept to production.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead mechanical design, focusing on form, weight, reliability, and materials.
  • Conduct and present design reviews to internal teams and customers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve design issues.
  • Review and approve designs, ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Develop and maintain accurate plant 2D layouts.
  • Provide guidance to mechanical engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Oversee installation and production support at customer sites as needed.
  • Manage purchase releases and documentation for design reviews.

Qualification

  • Proficiency in SolidWorks, PDM, AutoCAD, DraftSight, Microsoft Office, and FEA tools.

  • Experience in robot cell and automation design.

Job Purpose

As a LabVIEW Developer, you will develop software for automotive testing machines, including engine cold testing, leak testing, and transmission testing. This role also involves creating systems for NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) testing and understanding shift patterns for transmission testing.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop LabVIEW-based systems, including FPGA and Real-Time systems.
  • Integrate database connectivity with MS SQL Server and MS Access.
  • Utilize report generation tools for data analysis.
  • Handle various DAQ systems and communication protocols (e.g., CAN, Modbus, RS-232).
  • Work with automotive engine control sensors and actuators.
  • Conduct testing of PLC-based control systems and develop SCADA applications using LabVIEW.
  • Operate and troubleshoot electronic measurement instruments.
  • Prepare technical documentation and manage hardware installation.

Qualification
